Retouching

Lisa Marie MacPhee, began restoring images by hand. Ripped and torn photos were repaired by making copy negatives, hand printing the copied photos and then touching up the new image with toners. This method evolved into the digital restorations and professional editing Lisa Marie does today. Photographs that have been smoke damaged or faded by the sun can be improved. Improper colour casts can be corrected. Objects and/or people can be removed and/or added to a scene. Restoring photographs can start from adjusting colour, contrast, and exposure to more extreme cases of damage or alteration.

Quotes vary and are determined by the amount of labour involved in restoring/editing the condition and/ or deterioration of the image. Contact lmnophoto@gmail.com for inquirers.
